Exciting initial user feedback from Tan Tock Seng Hospital EVEMPT (Education with Virtual Reality in Emergency Medicine and Prehospital Training) project!
✅ 94% of participants rated the realism as “somewhat” or “very immersive”
✅ 88% were satisfied and enjoyed the VR experience
When comparing conventional vs VR team simulation implemented on SkillupVR in meeting learning needs related to field management of road traffic accidents, 94% users reported VR “met” or “well met” their learning needs for implementing care plans and improving critical thinking skills (vs. 50% for conventional training).
These finding demonstrate that VR can provide a viable, impactful tool for training of emergency team in HALO (high-acuity, low-occurrence) scenarios, offering hands-on experience in a safe, reproducible environment.
